Brenda Whiteman

Senior Program Coordinator for Interdisciplinary Graduate Education

Brenda coordinates and supports the work of the Interdisciplinary Graduate Education Collaborative (IGEC) teams. She most recently served as coordinator for graduate professional development at the Duke Graduate School and previously worked with Duke Service-Learning. She holds a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction from The University of Texas at Austin and brings over 20 years of experience in higher education, along with a strong foundation in K-12 education. With a background in teacher education, Brenda has taught extensively at the college level and held administrative roles supporting K-12 teachers and programs.
