Assistant Vice Provost, Interdisciplinary Finance & Administration

Amy works closely with senior leadership across Duke’s university-wide institutes, initiatives and centers (UICs) on addressing their administrative and financial needs. Amy has considerable experience in budget development and financial analysis, having negotiated and managed large international contracts and grants while working for the federal government. She increased her finance, HR and operations management expertise while serving as the managing director for internal operations at Family Connects International (FCI), a former program of Duke University. She holds an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business, an MA from The George Washington University in international policy, and a BA in anthropology and east Asian studies from the University of Florida.
