Assistant Director of Communications
Elizabeth focuses on strategic communications, storytelling and content development for Bass Connections, the Samuel DuBois Cook Center on Social Equity and the Duke Institute for Brain Sciences. Prior to joining the Office of Interdisciplinary Programs, she was a writer and deputy editor with Duke’s Trinity Arts & Sciences communications team, where her work often focused on faculty and student research. She also created and facilitated the Trinity Ambassadors program, a peer-to-peer communications initiative for undergraduate students. Elizabeth has an M.A. in musicology and a B.S. in biology from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
