Program Coordinator, Bass Connections
Antonia acts as theme administrator for the Brain & Society and Race & Society themes within Bass Connections and also helps to manage administrative and communications functions of the program’s central office. Passionate about interdisciplinary pursuits, Antonia graduated from Baylor University with a B.A. in great texts of the western tradition before attending Duke Divinity School, where she focused on Anglican studies, Black Church studies and liberation theologies. She received her master of divinity degree in 2016. Antonia then spent three years in Dallas, Texas, working as a chaplain in hospital and hospice settings, offering spiritual and emotional support to patients and families in times of crisis. She returned to Duke University as a staff member in 2021 when she worked as a program coordinator in the Duke Center for Global Women’s Health Technologies at the Pratt School of Engineering before joining Bass Connections in 2023.
