Register for Free Short Courses in the Duke Graduate Academy

Deadlines: May 15, 2026 (Summer Term 1) and July 1, 2026 (Summer Term 2)

The Duke Graduate Academy offers free online short courses that help emerging scholars prepare for high-level research, innovative teaching, leadership and/or public engagement.

Duke graduate and professional students can build skills, tools and knowledge to augment their regular coursework and research. Some courses are also open to postdocs with instructor consent.

Summer 2026 Duke Graduate Academy Courses

Summer Term 1 (May 13 – June 22)

  • Business and Organizational Fundamentals for Entrepreneurial Action

Summer Term 2 (June 29 – August 7)

  • Qualitative and Mixed Methods Research
  • AI for Qualitative Data Analysis
  • Introduction to Society-Centered AI
