Faculty Can Propose Data+ Projects for Summer 2026

This summer, 260 undergraduate and graduate students joined research teams through Duke’s +Programs, exploring questions ranging from AI ethics to climate change, documentary storytelling and public history.

Deadline: January 20, 2026. The overarching goal is to bring together groups of researchers from across campus to exchange ideas and advance a topic of current and timely interest.

Established in 2013, Rhodes iiD is an interdisciplinary program designed to increase “big data” computational research and expand opportunities for student engagement in this rapidly growing field.
