Become a Fellow at the 2026 Full Frame Documentary Film Festival

This summer, 260 undergraduate and graduate students joined research teams through Duke’s +Programs, exploring questions ranging from AI ethics to climate change, documentary storytelling and public history.

Deadline: February 27, 2026. Duke faculty teaching undergraduates can apply for a new program connected to the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival. A cohort will attend screenings and explore ways to integrate documentary film into research and courses.

Priority deadline: February 27, 2026. Undergraduate students can apply to Doc+, a six‑week summer program focused on the documentary arts. Students work in small teams with creative mentors and receive a $3,500 stipend or room and board.
